Beautiful birdfull weekend

It has been a gorgeous and relaxing weekend. A walk both Saturday and Sunday around the lake. This morning the feeders were visited by a myriad of goldfinches (they came back), hummingbirds, a flock of cedar waxwings (who mostly came to drink) and ..... drumroll...... a redheaded woodpecker and a cardinal!!!!! We hardly ever get any birds other than the goldfinches, doves, sparrows, wrens, chickadees and nuthatches, so getting some new visitors was a real treat.
