House repainting

We got our house repainted this week

And the garage doors restained

The daffodils were unphased by the work

See the blue tailed skink on the planter?

trying to hide from my lens

I really like this bulb

All of our porch and deck furniture had to be moved

And is patiently waiting to come on back for some serious sitting and sipping

Walk with the Dogwoods

this year the dogwoods are in bloom more than I have seen since the first year I moved here

There are white, yellow and pink varieties

the ants are busy at work

Not sure what kind of flowering plant this is

But here is the flower

the yellow on the water is POLLEN

pollen is everywhere

the yellow river in the middle of Lake Allatoona is pollen too

new pine seedlings

and slightly older pine seedlings

last but not least the fishermen are enjoying the gorgeous spring day too
