Emerson came over to play yesterday- all decked out in his Valentine's day finery. He is such a cutie and was so good.
We also finally have begun the fix the post project. One of our back porch posts has sunk about 5 or 6 inches.
The guys fixing it had to dig down really deep and into the rock under the deck and will build a very very thick support and footing OVER the drain field for the support to sit on.
Come to find it, it was placed right on top of the septic system drain field. Bummer! Lots of cement, lots of back breaking digging in tight places.
