Wee Free Men and 30 days in your shoes

Can't remember what that DVD you got us for Christmas was called Sarah but I keep meaning to blog about it. We REALLY liked it. Wood and I liked different episodes the best. I really was struck by the living on minimum wage one, as well as the born again Christian living with Muslims for a month. In both circumstances the people were soooooo stretched. I really liked it. Flying into DC today I listened to Wee Free Men and love how it is written. So many great metaphors and analogies it is really easy to visualize the story (my favorite so far was comparing sheep grazing on a green hill to puffy white clouds in the sky) Also got quite a tour of the Capitol and the Mall flying in (flew right past the Mall and by the Jefferson Memorial which is one of my favorites), all spiffed up for the inauguration. Can't wait. My hotel room has a great view of the Capitol building. This is all just so exciting!
