Emerson's trip to the park

Even with a little bump on the noggin this was Emerson's favorite slide. He got going pretty fast a couple of times I LOVE this picture of Bry and Emerson This was the first slide we put him on at Delinger Park. I think he would have been almost as happy turning around and putting his fingers in the holes behind him. We walked around a bit, looked at the geese and ducks and did the 1, 2, 3, swinging in the air a number of times. A couple of times when Bry and I were each holding Emerson's fingers he wiggled his arms to let us know he was ready for another swing through the air. This shot may have captured his very first ever trip down a slide.

Snow snow snow snow snow (think music to White Christmas)

We got lots last night and it is a beautiful 20 degrees outside sooo Looks like we will be staying here until the sun hits the driveway and we can get down. MMM waffles for breakfast and a fire in the fireplace and lots of Wii for today :-) Petey just knows there is ground down there somewhere See I knew if I dug long enough I would find ground :-)- He loves it And this is only 3 inches. How many feet is it now in DC??? Wood got me some real snow boots several years ago for our trips to NY. Haven't used them in many years cause they are kind of thick and heavy to pack. But boy have they come in handy this morning. The birds are glad we have snow boots since we were able to go and refuel the feeders for them.

3 weeks ago beach- today snow

Well it started to snow about 3 hours ago and most unusual for us it is sticking. Glad we have Chili in the crock pot and wood for a fire tonight. Probably about an inch or so- so far Looks kind of pretty doesn't it? The birds are feasting as fast as they can to stay warm
