Budd Bonanza
Had a wonderful visit with the Budds last weekend. Sarah took me to my favorite place yet, the forestry center that is also on the same grounds as the Zoo. We all had a great time with the smoke jumper simulation. And I have a fantastic video that I posted for family online to see of the white water rafting simulation. You should see Brennan bouncing around with the biggest grin on his face!
Also there were musical instruments made from wood from all over the world, and I really enjoyed the cross sections of all kinds of different trees. In fact, I liked it so much I forgot to take any pictures of that part :-(
Mr. Incredible appeared right before I left :-) This little guy can make the best faces. He is quite a charmer and little flirt. Couple of times when he caught me looking at him (and I wasn't supposed to be) he would turn his head quickly with the cutest little smile) And you have to admit he has the most expressive little pout
And here is living proof that I actually enjoyed Sarah's green smoothy. This one was quite delicious and had a really clean, ligh flavor. I actually drank it all up and would love to have another for lunch today :-)

Up and Down or Down and up
Remember Lake Allatoona from mid November? We got lots of rain, sleet and snow this weekend and it filled up the lake and kept us from taking Petey from his walk and runs on the beach. Didn't matter that it was 39 degrees tonight, he had the best time playing and cavorting on what little beach was left.
The lake is HUGE so you can imagine how much water has come in to fill it up past both markersThis is I think part of a squirrel skeleton that has been at our lake beach for awhile
